Miyuki and I went to the Annie Awards last night. They were a lot of fun, ran into some people I have not seen in awhile, and got to take a picture with a personal hero of mine, Andreas Deja.

I was also going to try to get my picture taken with John Lasseter, but he was surrounded by other animation directors, and I just couldn't come up with the courage to ask for a photo, with any of them.

Miyuki also got speak to and take a picture with Frank Gladstone, he seemed so kind, he even tried speaking to her in Japanese, he said "ohayo gozaimasu" which means "good morning." I thought it was funny, but I didn't laugh, I have trouble with Japanese too, and I didn't want to offend him.

Also for anybody who hasn't already seen the flier, Miyuki and I are having a gallery showing at Cal State Fullerton from Saturday March 17th to the 23rd. The opening reception is at 6pm Saturday March 17th. Hope to see you there.
